This past week, thanks to a trip to Michigan, I enjoyed a break from surface-of-the-sun temperatures, but the Shankles have had to deal with some severe summer weather in San Antonio. Melanie and I talk about both of those things in this episode, along with Mel's newfound interest in a previously unknown-to-her historical figure. We also discuss the fact that I discovered the cheeseburger of my life in Gallant, Alabama. On top of all that, I have many thoughts and feelings about a Netflix documentary I watched over the weekend, and it's Melanie's turn for Five Favorites. Hope y'all enjoy!
