About this episode
Welcome to Whiskey Ginger — a Wave series. Andrew Santino sits down with comedian, writer, and Midwest legend Charlie Berens for a hilarious conversation about regional comedy, family, work ethic, and why being “nice” can still absolutely destroy on stage. They dig into Charlie’s brand-new stand-up special Neighborly, now out on YouTube, the stories behind the hour, and how leaning into where you’re from can turn into a massive comedy career. 🎥 Watch Charlie Berens’ new special Neighborly (out now on YouTube): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zqv-yKgUbCA&t=44s 🎤 See Charlie Berens live & tour dates: https://www.charlieberens.com 🎧 Check out Charlie’s podcast “Cripescast.” #whiskeyginger…
