About this episode

Role Model joins The Rolling Stone Studio for a wide-ranging conversation with senior writer Brian Hiatt, explaining how his girlfriend, Dakota Johnson, ended up on his new album; why he killed his viral "Sally" guest-star bit; and describing his nerve-wracking first day acting opposite Natalie Portman in Lena Dunham's 'Good Sex'. Along the way, he gets into the two-year post-breakup spiral behind 'Chuck Timely & The Hourglass,' his case for bringing back heartland rock, his lifelong grudge against Pitbull songs, whether he'll ever drop his stage name, and so much more.
