About this episode
Mark 1:40–45 Some conditions run deeper than the skin, and so does the shame that comes with them. A leper knelt before Jesus with a desperate plea: “If You are willing, You can make me clean.” Moved with compassion, Jesus touched the untouchable. Pastor Chuck Swindoll teaches from Mark 1:40–45, illustrating how leprosy in the Bible mirrors the spiritual disease of sin—an internal condition beyond every human remedy. Only Jesus has the power to cleanse. Acknowledge the leprosy within and reach for the only One who can make you clean. His compassion and healing power are as real today as they were in the first century!
