About this episode
At 5-2 and headed to Pittsburgh, Anthony Lima and Nick Pedone debate who deserves the blame for Deshaun Watson’s first-quarter interception to Denzel Boston, and why Watson gets critiqued in a way Josh Allen or Patrick Mahomes never would. They react to Tyvis Powell saying the Browns should start contract talks if Watson wins at Acrisure Stadium, then push back with the front office’s analytics-driven approach, Watson’s bottom-third stats, and the Joe Flacco and Baker Mayfield precedents. The conversation widens to whether his price is only going up, how fans feel about paying him after the $230 million deal, and an open call for fan reaction.
