About this episode
Tyra Banks is releasing a brand-new audiobook edition of her 2011 dystopian fantasy novel, Modelland. The nearly nineteen-hour recording features the author voicing over fifty distinct characters to bring her imaginative world to life. Although the multi-day recording sessions proved physically demanding, Banks found the process to be a magical experience. The story itself follows a young, awkward girl named Tookie De La Crème as she navigates a mysterious and potentially dangerous modeling competition. Fans can expect the upcoming audio release to launch on November 3, with preorders currently available. "Open a book. Discover a world." This episode includes AI-generated content.
