About this episode
Tracey Ryans helped build the rooms New York goes out in: La Esquina, The Box, NeuHouse, the relaunch of Soho House. He also had a life changing experience in Vipassana and would eventually go on to become a teacher. We talk about losing his mother young and treating that loss as fuel rather than something to hide, the years he spent fluent in the language of practice without doing the practice, how the same bad moment can play as comedy or horror, and why Coltrane's "Olé" still makes him cry.
