About this episode

To offset a surge of early injuries this season, San Francisco has added veterans like Brandin Cooks, Dante Pettis and Matthew Judon. Their biggest addition so far, however, already is on the team, as defensive lineman Mykel Williams' 21-day practice window officially opened Wednesday while the 49ers evaluate his return from the PUP list. On this episode of "49ers Talk," co-hosts Matt Maiocco and Jennifer Lee Chan discuss how the 49ers will manage their roster in the short-term as players arrive to provide depth and return from injuries. Later, the duo provides context to the offensive line's historical start and how the unit has enabled Brock Purdy to open the season without a single sack.
